What firms report
Why some firms look elsewhere
- A typical 12-month term for the website and SEO, per Scorpion’s FAQ. Ours is month to month.1
- Prices aren’t on Scorpion’s website, so you can’t compare costs until you’ve talked with sales.1
- Leaving means a rebuild: Scorpion’s FAQ says the site moves as files and content, and another vendor rebuilds it.1

Before you switch
What to get from Scorpion first.
Ask for these in writing before you give notice. With them, nothing you’ve built gets lost, whoever you move to.
- 01Your domain: confirm it is registered in your firm’s name, and get the registrar login.
- 02Your Google Business Profile: make sure your firm is the primary owner, not the agency.
- 03Google Analytics, Search Console, and any ad accounts: admin access in your firm’s name.
- 04A copy of every page, post, attorney bio, and photo, plus a list of every page address on your site.
- 05Your contract’s end date and the notice it requires, in writing.
- 06Your call-tracking numbers: ask whether they can be moved to you or stop when you leave.

Questions
Switching from Scorpion.
Can I leave Scorpion before my contract ends?
That depends on your agreement, so read it first. Scorpion’s FAQ says website and SEO work typically comes with a 12-month contract. Many firms start with us before their term ends: your new site is up on a preview address the day you sign up, and nothing launches until you approve it.
Do I keep my content when I leave Scorpion?
Scorpion’s FAQ says domains, content, and imagery are yours, and that you receive static files, design assets, and content when you part ways. We move up to 150 pages over free (300 on Premium and Landmark).
Will I lose my Google rankings if I switch?
We redirect every old page address to its new home and check each one again after launch, so Google can follow the move. Rankings can still shift during any move, and no one can guarantee them.
How does AttorneyLogic’s price compare?
Ours is a flat monthly price, published on our pricing page, with a one-time setup fee. There is no annual contract. Scorpion doesn’t publish prices, so ask them for a written quote to compare.
