Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated November 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between HITTEKK LLC, an Arizona limited liability company doing business as AttorneyLogic (“AttorneyLogic,” “we,” “us,” “our”), and the law firm or attorney that signs up for or uses our service (“you,” “your firm”). Please read them carefully. They include a limit on our liability (Section 33), a waiver of jury trials and class actions (Section 36), and rules about fees, automatic renewal, and refunds (Sections 11 through 14).
How you agree. You accept these Terms when you check the box at sign-up, pay, create an account, or use the Service, whichever happens first. The person who accepts confirms that they are authorized to bind the firm, and “you” then means the firm. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Summary in plain English
This summary is for convenience. The full Terms below control.
- We build, host, and run your firm’s website and give you a dashboard (“HQ”) with leads, tools, and optional add-ons. We are not a law firm and never give legal advice.
- Your website and ads are your firm’s communications. You stay responsible for following your state bar’s rules. Our checks help, but they can miss things.
- You pay a one-time setup fee and then a monthly or yearly fee, plus sales tax. Plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in HQ.
- Monthly and yearly fees are not refunded. The setup fee is refunded if you ask within 14 days and your site has not launched.
- Your content and your leads belong to you. We use them only to run the Service. We never sell them, and we never let anyone train AI models on them.
- When you leave, you can download your site and leads for 90 days. Then we delete your data.
1. Definitions
- “Service” means everything we provide under these Terms: your website, its hosting, HQ, our tools and features, add-ons, one-time services, and support.
- “HQ” means your firm’s dashboard at app.getattorneylogic.com.
- “Your Content” means everything you or your users give us or create in the Service: text, photos, logos, attorney information, blog posts, reviews you choose to display, settings, and files.
- “Lead Data” means information about people who contact your firm through the Service: website forms, chat, booking, calls, texts, newsletter and text sign-ups, job applications, and similar.
- “Users” means the people you invite to HQ, such as attorneys and staff.
- “Order” means the plan, add-ons, and one-time services you choose at sign-up or later in HQ, with the prices shown at that time.
- “Add-on” means an optional feature billed on top of your plan, such as Usher, Advocate, or the care plan.
- “Subprocessor” means a company we use to help run the Service that may handle Your Content or Lead Data, listed in our Privacy Policy.
- “Including” means “including without limitation.”
2. What AttorneyLogic is, and what it is not
AttorneyLogic provides website design, hosting, and software for law firms. That includes a website built from one of our designs; HQ; lead alerts, lead tools, and reports; a site editor and assistant (“Clerk”); advertising-rule checks (“Guardrail”); blog drafting (“Brief”); review display (“Testimony”); onboarding tools (“Discovery”); and optional add-ons and one-time services described in HQ and on our website.
AttorneyLogic is not a law firm, does not practice law, and does not give legal advice or ethics opinions. Nothing in the Service is legal advice, including any draft, template, suggestion, flag, score, automated check, or support answer. No attorney-client relationship exists between AttorneyLogic and you, your clients, or anyone who contacts your firm through the Service.
Our fees are not for legal work, referrals, or cases. You pay flat fees for technology, design, hosting, and marketing services. We do not refer clients to you, recommend you to anyone, take a share of your legal fees, or charge per lead, per client, or per case.
3. Who can use the Service
- Lawyers and law firms only. You must be a lawyer licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. state or territory, or a law firm acting through one. At sign-up you give us your licensing state and bar number. We check them against the state bar’s public records. Your site cannot launch until that check is complete. We may refuse, pause, or end the Service if we cannot verify a license, or if a license is suspended or revoked. Tell us promptly if your license status changes.
- Business use only. The Service is for your firm’s business. It is not offered to consumers for personal, family, or household use.
- Accurate information. The information you give us at sign-up and later must be true, complete, and kept up to date.
4. Your account and your Users
- Responsibility. You are responsible for your Users and everything done under your account. Give each User only the access they need. Remove Users promptly when they leave your firm.
- Security. Each User signs in with their own email and two-step login. Never share logins. Keep your devices and email accounts secure. Tell us right away at hello@getattorneylogic.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
- Owners. At least one owner must stay on your account. Owners can change billing, cancel, invite and remove Users, and download your data. We follow instructions from an owner. If owners at your firm disagree, we may pause changes until you sort it out.
- Our support access. Named members of our team can view your account to provide support, fix problems, and complete work you request. Access is limited to what the task needs and is logged.
5. Your website and your advertising
Your website, blog, ads, emails, texts, and everything published through the Service are your firm’s communications. You decide what is published, and you remain responsible for complying with the rules of professional conduct and attorney advertising rules in every jurisdiction where you practice or advertise. That includes rules on claims and comparisons, testimonials and endorsements, case results, specialization and certification, required disclaimers, firm names, filing or approval of ads with a bar where required, solicitation, and client confidentiality.
Our tools help, but they are not a substitute for your judgment:
- Guardrail checks edits against common attorney advertising rules. A clear problem blocks publishing until it is fixed; other findings are flagged for you to review. Guardrail also scans your live site daily and tells you about anything it finds. Guardrail never changes your live site on its own; every fix needs your approval. Guardrail does not know every rule in every state and can miss things or flag things that are fine.
- Drafts are drafts. Blog posts, page text, translations, and other drafts we or our AI tools prepare must be reviewed by a lawyer at your firm before they are published. You are responsible for the accuracy of every legal statement on your site.
- You approve publishing. Nothing is published to your site without approval by a User at your firm who is allowed to publish, except changes you ask us to make (for example, care plan requests) and urgent security or legal fixes under Section 29. Every change is logged and can be undone.
- What you give us is accurate and yours to use. You confirm that Your Content is accurate and not misleading, and that you have every right and consent needed to use it, including photos of people, client reviews and testimonials, case results, awards, and other attorneys’ names.
6. Website chat, Usher, and lead intake
Website chat answers visitor questions from the facts you provide and collects contact details. Usher, our AI receptionist add-on, answers calls you send to it.
- Automated, and says so. Chat and Usher tell visitors and callers that they are automated assistants, that they do not give legal advice, and that contacting your firm does not create an attorney-client relationship. Your site shows a notice saying the same. You may not remove these notices or instruct chat or Usher to give legal advice.
- Minimal intake. Chat and Usher are set up to collect only contact details and a short description of the matter, so you can check for conflicts and arrange a consultation. Visitors are asked not to share confidential details. You decide what follow-up questions to ask. You are responsible for your duties to prospective clients, including conflict checks and confidentiality of what they share.
- You supervise them. Chat and Usher work for your firm, under your direction, like any non-lawyer assistant you use. You decide what facts and answers they give, review the leads they produce, and respond to people who reach out.
- Calls are not recorded. Usher does not record calls. It uses speech recognition to turn a caller’s spoken answers (such as their name, what the matter is about, and a good time to call back) into text, which is saved with the lead. If you separately record calls through your own phone system, you are responsible for complying with recording and consent laws, including in states that require every party’s consent.
- Inbound only. Usher answers calls to your firm. It does not place calls to anyone.
- Your phone settings. You decide when Usher answers (for example, after hours or when calls go unanswered) through your own phone settings. Usher includes 300 minutes of calls a month. Extra minutes are $0.30 each (see Section 11).
- Leads go to your firm only. Lead Data is delivered only to your firm, through HQ, email, text, browser notifications, and any practice-management tool you connect.
7. Texting
The Service can send text messages in three ways: alerts to your own Users about new leads, messages to people who contact your firm (for example, a missed-call text-back or a booking confirmation), and messages to a list of people who signed up on your site to receive texts from your firm.
- Consent is your responsibility. You must have every consent the law requires before any text is sent on your firm’s behalf, including under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and similar state laws. Our sign-up forms capture consent with the wording, date, time, and page, and we keep that record for you. Do not upload or import phone numbers that did not give that consent.
- Opt-outs. Every message program honors STOP and similar words (such as UNSUBSCRIBE or CANCEL), and replying HELP returns help information. Anyone who opts out is removed and not texted again unless they opt back in. You may not re-add someone who opted out.
- Quiet hours and content. Texts to your list are scheduled outside quiet hours. You are responsible for any stricter timing rules that apply to you. You may not send texts about sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco, or illegal substances, or anything misleading, threatening, or unlawful.
- Registration and carrier rules. U.S. carriers require business texting to be registered (A2P 10DLC). You will give us accurate information for your firm’s registration, and you agree to carrier and industry rules, including the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices. Carrier registration fees are passed through at cost when shown in HQ.
- We can pause texting for your account if a carrier, Twilio, or the law requires it, if opt-out or complaint rates are high, or if texting is being misused.
- Message terms for people who receive texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile numbers and text-message consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
8. Email sent through the Service
The Service sends email to your Users (alerts, reminders, reports) and, if you turn those features on, to people who contacted your firm (instant replies, follow-up emails, booking emails, and review requests).
- You are the sender. Emails to people who contacted your firm are sent in your firm’s name. You are responsible for complying with email laws, including CAN-SPAM, and with your bar’s solicitation rules. Follow-up emails go only to people who contacted your firm, include a one-click unsubscribe link, and stop when the person unsubscribes or when your firm moves the lead out of New (for example, after you reach them).
- Review requests follow the rules. Review requests use fixed wording that offers no reward, does not ask only happy clients, does not suggest a star rating, and reminds clients that reviews are public. You may send them only to real clients and may not use them to post, buy, or filter reviews. You agree to follow the Federal Trade Commission’s rule on consumer reviews and testimonials and the review policies of Google and other platforms.
9. Onboarding, the vault, and what not to upload
During onboarding you upload your logo, photos, attorney details, writing samples, and other materials to your firm’s private folder.
- Use invites, not passwords, whenever a service lets you add us as a user or manager.
- Use the vault only for logins that can’t be shared another way. Vault entries are encrypted, are not shown again after saving, are opened only by named members of our team, have every view logged, and are deleted 30 days after your site launches. Change any password you shared once our work is done.
- Do not upload client files or confidential client information. The Service is for marketing your firm and handling new inquiries, not for storing client matters. Remove client names and identifying details from writing samples, case results, and reviews unless the client has given informed consent in writing.
- Do not upload anything you have no right to share, or any health records, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or government ID numbers.
10. Plans, add-ons, and one-time services
Your plan and its features are described on our website and in HQ at the time you sign up or change plans. Add-ons and one-time services are described where you order them. If a description in HQ conflicts with these Terms, these Terms control unless the description says it is a special term for that feature.
11. Fees and payment
- What you pay. You pay the one-time setup fee and the recurring fee for your plan, plus any add-ons and one-time services you order, at the prices shown when you order. Prices are in U.S. dollars.
- Monthly or yearly. You can pay monthly or yearly. The yearly price equals ten months of the monthly price, so you get two months free. Add-ons are billed monthly and are available only on monthly billing.
- First payment. The setup fee and your first month or first year are paid at checkout by card or bank account (ACH).
- Automatic charges. After that, every charge is automatic. Your recurring fee and add-ons are charged in advance at the start of each billing period to the card or bank account on file. You authorize us, through Stripe, to make these charges until you cancel. Keep your payment method current; you can change it anytime in HQ > Billing.
- Founding-firm rate. The first ten firms to pay may receive a founding-firm rate. It lasts as long as your subscription continues without a break. If you cancel and later return, the regular price applies.
- Moving up a plan. When you move to a higher plan, you pay (a) the difference in the recurring fee for the rest of your current billing period, prorated, and (b) the difference between the new plan’s setup fee and the setup fee for your current plan, both charged when you confirm. HQ shows the exact amount, with tax, before you confirm.
- Moving down a plan. When you move to a lower plan, any unused time on your current plan becomes a credit applied to your future invoices. Credits are not paid out in cash. Features not included in the lower plan stop when the change takes effect. Setup fees are not refunded or credited when you move down.
- Usher minutes. Usher includes 300 minutes of calls each calendar month, in your firm’s time zone. A call counts from the moment Usher answers until the caller hangs up, rounded up to the next whole minute. Minutes over 300 are billed at $0.30 a minute on your next invoice after the month ends. Unused minutes do not carry over. HQ shows your minutes as they are used, and we email your firm’s owners and admins at 80% and at 100%.
- Care plan. The care plan includes up to five change requests a month, completed within two business days. Unused requests do not carry over. Larger requests are quoted before we start.
- Content moves (bringing content over from your old site or your documents) are one-time charges at the price shown when you order, charged to your payment method on file. A package your plan includes is not charged. Larger sites are quoted first, and nothing is charged until you approve the quote.
- Design switches. Your first switch to another design is free before your site launches or within 30 days of joining. After that, each switch is a one-time charge shown, with a preview, before you confirm. Moving to or from Landmark is a plan change.
- One-time services. The Brand Kit is $1,495 for a new brand and $995 for a refresh. Other one-time work is quoted before it starts. Nothing is charged until you approve.
- Advertising spend on Google or any other platform is paid by you directly to that platform and is never part of our prices.
- Domains. If we register a domain for you, it is registered in your firm’s name, with your firm listed as its owner, and we manage it for you while you are a client. The first year is included in your setup fee, and renewals are included while your plan is active.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card or bank account numbers. Stripe’s own terms apply to the payment itself.
- Invoices and receipts are emailed and available in HQ > Billing.
- Price changes. We will tell you in writing at least 30 days before any price change takes effect for your account. A change applies from your next billing period after the notice period. For yearly plans, a price change takes effect at your next yearly renewal. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
12. Sales tax
Our prices do not include tax. We add sales tax to every sale where it applies, including Arizona transaction privilege tax (state, county, and city) and any other sales, use, or similar tax that applies where you are located. Tax is calculated at checkout and shown on every invoice and receipt. You are responsible for all taxes on your purchases except taxes on our income. If you are exempt, send us a valid exemption certificate before you are charged; we will apply it to future charges. Tax is refunded only with the charge it was collected on, or as the law requires.
13. Automatic renewal and how to cancel
Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period (each month for monthly plans, each year for yearly plans) for another period of the same length, at the then-current price for your account, until you cancel.
- Yearly reminder. For yearly plans, we email your account owners a reminder about 30 days before each renewal, with the date, the amount, and how to cancel or switch to monthly.
- How to cancel. Cancel anytime online in HQ > Billing, or by emailing hello@getattorneylogic.com from an owner’s email address. We confirm cancellation by email.
- When it takes effect. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Your site and HQ keep working until then. You can undo a cancellation in HQ before that date.
- Add-ons can be turned off anytime in HQ and stop at the end of the period already paid.
14. Refunds
- Setup fee: refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of paying it and your site has not launched. After 14 days or after launch, it is not refundable.
- Monthly and yearly fees and add-ons: not refunded, in whole or in part, including for unused time, unused features, or a cancellation partway through a period. Canceling stops the next charge. This applies to yearly plans too: if you cancel a yearly plan, it stays active until the end of the year you paid for.
- One-time services: refunded only as stated in the quote you approve.
- Our mistakes. If we charge you in error, we refund the charge.
- Where the law requires a refund, we will give it.
15. Late payment, failed payments, and chargebacks
If a payment is not received, you have a 3-day grace period, and we email your owners. After that, until you pay:
- Your website stays live. Pages, phone numbers, and click-to-call keep working.
- New leads are held. They are saved securely but not delivered, and they are delivered all at once as soon as you pay.
- HQ is limited to Billing and Settings. Automated add-ons pause, and Usher forwards calls straight to your phone number so callers are never stranded.
If a payment is still unpaid 30 days after it was due, your website is taken offline until you pay. It comes back automatically as soon as the payment goes through. If an account stays unpaid after that, we may cancel it under Section 30. Unpaid amounts remain owed after cancellation.
Chargebacks. If you think a charge is wrong, contact us first; we will look into it promptly. Disputing a valid charge with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us is a breach of these Terms. While a dispute is open, we may treat the amount as unpaid under this Section. You will reimburse reasonable costs we incur to collect amounts you owe, including dispute fees.
16. Google Ads management (Advocate)
If you use Advocate:
- You own your Google Ads account and its billing. You pay Google directly for ad spend. You add us as a manager and keep full administrator access, and you can remove our access at any time.
- Our fee is separate from your ad spend. Advocate is billed as a monthly management fee, separate from what you pay Google, and shown as its own line on every invoice. You can see your costs, clicks, impressions, and other results in your own Google Ads account at any time.
- Safe, reversible changes on our own. Advocate may make safe, reversible changes without asking each time, such as adding clearly unrelated search terms as negative keywords or repairing conversion tracking. Each change is logged and can be undone.
- Changes that spend money or affect bidding need your approval. Budgets, bids, bid strategies, and new campaigns change only with your approval, and never above the monthly limit you set.
- Your ads are your advertising. Ad text is checked by Guardrail, but you remain responsible for your ads and for complying with Google’s policies, including its rules for legal services advertisers.
- We do not promise results, including clicks, calls, leads, clients, rankings, or cost per lead.
- An optional expert review is provided by DataStackLogic, our sister company, under its own agreement with you.
17. Brand Kit
If you buy a Brand Kit (a new brand or a refresh):
- Who designs it. Brand Kits are designed by DataStackLogic, our sister company, working as our subcontractor. We remain responsible to you for the Brand Kit under these Terms, and you pay us.
- Original work, but no trademark guarantee. Every design is original, but we cannot guarantee that a name, logo, or tagline is available to trademark or free of conflicts with others. We recommend a trademark search before you file, print, or advertise.
- Ownership. Once the Brand Kit is paid in full, you own the final logo and brand files we deliver. Concepts you do not choose remain ours.
- Price and changes. A new brand is $1,495 and a refresh is $995, paid once. Both include two rounds of changes. Each extra round is $150, and extra pieces are quoted before we start.
- Refreshes. A refresh is available only for a logo your firm owns or has the right to change, and you confirm you have that right.
- Taglines are checked by Guardrail, but you remain responsible for your advertising.
18. Accounts you connect
You can connect outside accounts to the Service, such as your Google Business Profile and Google Search Console (read-only), your Google Ads account (Advocate), and practice-management or intake tools like Clio Grow or Lawmatics.
- You confirm that you are allowed to connect each account and to let us use it as described.
- We use connected accounts only to provide the features you turned on. For Google accounts, our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See our Privacy Policy.
- You can disconnect an account anytime in HQ, which stops our access.
- Those services are run by their own companies under their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, changes, or actions.
19. Partners and disclosed relationships
We may introduce you to partner services, such as DataStackLogic for Google Ads management and design, or Zynk Media Group for social media. Partner services are provided under the partner’s own terms unless we say we are providing them. We share your details with a partner only when you ask them to contact you or when they work for us as a Subprocessor. Where we have a business or family relationship with a partner, we say so: DataStackLogic is our sister company, and Zynk Media Group is owned by a family member.
20. Who owns what
- Your Content and Lead Data are yours, along with your domain and your firm’s names and marks.
- Our platform is ours. We and our licensors own the Service, including the software, HQ, our designs, templates, design system, code, tools, documentation, and everything we create to provide the Service (other than Your Content and Brand Kit deliverables you paid for). No rights are granted except as stated in these Terms.
- Your license to our design. While you are subscribed, you may use your website’s design, code, and our stock images on your website.
- After you leave, you may keep using the downloaded copy of your website, including its design, for your own firm only. You may not resell it, sublicense it, or use it to build websites for others.
- Your license to us. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, display, adapt (for example, resize photos or format text), translate, and otherwise process Your Content and Lead Data, only as needed to provide, secure, and support the Service for you, and as the law requires. This license ends when your data is deleted under Section 31.
- AI drafts. As between us, text that our tools draft for you and you publish on your site is yours to use.
- Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything. You keep your rights to Your Content inside any feedback.
- Publicity. We will not name your firm as a customer or show your site in our marketing without your written permission, which you can withdraw at any time.
21. Restrictions
You will not, and will not let anyone else:
- copy, modify, sell, resell, rent, or sublicense the Service, except your own website as allowed in Section 20;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or try to extract the source code of HQ or our tools, except where the law allows it despite this limit;
- access the Service by automated means (scraping, bots) except through features we provide;
- use the Service to build a competing product, or copy our designs, features, or wording for that purpose;
- probe, scan, or test the Service’s security, or get around its limits, logins, bot checks, or usage caps;
- use the Service to send or host malware, or to overload or disrupt it or anyone else; or
- share HQ access with anyone outside your firm, other than people helping your firm who agree to these Terms.
22. Acceptable use
You will not use the Service to publish, send, or collect anything that:
- is unlawful, false, misleading, defamatory, or violates attorney advertising rules;
- infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights;
- is spam, or a call or text sent without required consent;
- collects information unlawfully, or collects sensitive information the Service was not designed for (see Section 9);
- harasses, threatens, or discriminates against anyone; or
- impersonates another person or firm, or misstates your relationship with anyone.
23. AI features
Some features use artificial intelligence to draft text, translate pages, summarize leads, research your market, answer website visitors, and turn callers’ spoken answers into text.
- No training on your data. Your Content and Lead Data are never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s. Our AI provider processes them only to return results to you, under terms that do not allow it to train on them.
- Human review. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. A lawyer at your firm reviews and approves anything before it is published or relied on. You are responsible for what you publish.
- Output is provided “as is.” We do not promise that AI output is accurate, original, or fit for any purpose.
- Helping you meet your duties. Because your data is not used for training, is kept separate from other firms’ data, and is processed only to provide the Service, you can describe our AI use to your clients and your bar. We will answer reasonable written questions about how our AI features handle data, to help you meet your duties of competence and confidentiality.
24. Confidentiality
- What is confidential. Each side’s non-public business information shared under these Terms is confidential, including your Lead Data, Your Content before it is published, and our non-public product, pricing, and security information.
- How we treat it. The receiving side uses the other side’s confidential information only to perform under these Terms, protects it with at least reasonable care, and shares it only with its people and contractors who need it and are bound by confidentiality duties at least as protective as these.
- Exceptions. Information is not confidential if it is public through no fault of the receiver, was already known to the receiver without a duty of confidentiality, is independently developed, or is rightfully received from someone else without restriction.
- Required by law. A side may disclose confidential information if the law, a court, or a government agency requires it, after giving the other side prompt notice (where allowed) so it can seek protection. For your Lead Data, we will resist overbroad requests and disclose only what is legally required.
- These duties last for as long as we hold the information, and for three years after for business information.
25. Data protection
- Our role. For Lead Data and Your Content, we act as your service provider and processor: we process them only on your behalf and on your instructions (which include these Terms, your settings in HQ, and your written requests), and only to provide, secure, and support the Service and to comply with the law. Your firm decides why and how that data is collected and used.
- No selling or sharing. We do not sell Lead Data or Your Content, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, use it for our own marketing, or combine it with data from other customers or other sources except as needed to provide the Service. We tell you if we can no longer meet these duties.
- Subprocessors. We use the Subprocessors listed in our Privacy Policy. Each is bound by written terms that protect your data at least as much as these Terms do, and we remain responsible for them. We will update the list and email your owners at least 30 days before adding a new Subprocessor that handles Lead Data, except in an emergency. If you reasonably object, tell us; if we cannot address your objection, you may cancel and we will refund any prepaid fees for the unused part of your billing period.
- Requests from people. If someone asks us to access, correct, or delete their information in your Lead Data, we refer them to you. HQ lets you find, export, and delete leads. We will reasonably help you respond to such requests.
- Data location. We and our Subprocessors store and process data in the United States and may process it in other countries where our Subprocessors operate, with the protections described in this Section.
- Your responsibilities. You are responsible for giving any notices and getting any consents the law requires for the Lead Data you collect through the Service, including a privacy notice on your website. We provide a privacy notice on your site that you can edit, and you are responsible for its content.
- Questionnaires and audits. We will answer reasonable written security and vendor questionnaires once a year, and more often after a security incident. This is how audit rights under any law or agreement are met, unless the law requires otherwise.
26. Security and security incidents
- Safeguards. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, encrypted storage for vault entries and connection tokens, two-step login for HQ, separation of each firm’s data, access limited to people who need it, logging of staff access to sensitive data, and backups.
- If something happens. If we confirm a security incident that leads to unauthorized access to, or acquisition of, your Lead Data or Your Content, we will notify your owners without undue delay, and in any case within 72 hours after confirming it. We will tell you what we know, take reasonable steps to contain it, and help you meet any notice duties you have under data breach laws or your rules of professional conduct.
- Your side. You are responsible for the security of your devices, your Users’ email accounts, and anything you control outside the Service.
27. Accessibility
Our designs are built to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and are tested with automated tools. No website can be guaranteed free of accessibility barriers. Content you add (for example, images without descriptions, PDFs, or videos without captions) can affect accessibility, and you are responsible for it. If you or a visitor tells us about a barrier in our design or code, we will work to fix it within a reasonable time. We do not promise that your site meets any particular law or standard, and accessibility claims are not covered by our indemnity in Section 34.
28. Copyright complaints
If you believe something on a website we host infringes your copyright, send a notice to hello@getattorneylogic.com with the subject “Copyright notice.” Include: your contact information; the work you claim is infringed; the page address and the material you want removed; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We will respond as the Digital Millennium Copyright Act provides, including by removing material and notifying the firm, which may send a counter-notice. We may end the accounts of repeat infringers.
29. Availability, changes, support, and beta features
- Availability. We work to keep the Service available and secure, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance, ideally outside business hours.
- Changes. We may improve, change, or retire features. If we remove something material from your plan, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice, and you may cancel and receive a refund of prepaid fees for the unused part of your billing period.
- Urgent fixes. We may make urgent changes to your site without asking first to fix a security problem, comply with the law or a court order, or remove material that is plainly unlawful. We will tell you what we changed and why.
- Support. Support is by email and through HQ during business hours, Arizona time.
- Beta features. Features marked beta, preview, or early access are optional, may change or end anytime, and are provided “as is” without any promise of availability or support.
30. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend all or part of the Service, with notice when practical, if: your payment is late as described in Section 15; your use threatens the security, stability, or legal standing of the Service or anyone else; a carrier, Google, or another provider requires it; we receive a credible complaint that your site breaks the law; or you seriously breach these Terms. We will limit the suspension to what is reasonably needed and lift it once the problem is fixed.
- You may cancel anytime, as described in Section 13.
- We may end the Service for any reason with 30 days’ written notice, and we will refund prepaid fees for the unused part of your billing period. We may end it sooner if you seriously breach these Terms and do not fix the breach within 10 days after we tell you about it, or immediately for fraud, unlawful content, or non-payment for more than 30 days.
31. When the Service ends
- Download your data. For 90 days after the Service ends, owners can still sign in to download a full copy of your website (pages, blog posts, and photos) and your lead history from HQ.
- Your domain. Your domain is registered in your firm’s name. If we registered it, we transfer it to the registrar you choose at no charge. Registry rules lock a domain for 60 days after it is registered or transferred, so if you leave within that time, we keep it pointed where you ask and transfer it as soon as the lock ends. If you already owned your domain, you simply point it to your new host.
- What stops. Hosting, HQ features, add-ons, and phone numbers we provided stop at the end of the paid period. Phone numbers we provided are released unless you ask us to transfer them before the end date and the transfer is possible.
- Deletion. About 90 days after the Service ends, we permanently delete Your Content, Lead Data, files, and the logins that belong only to your firm. Copies in backups are deleted as backups roll over, within about 30 days after that. We keep only what the law requires or allows us to keep, such as billing and tax records and a record that the deletion happened.
- What survives. Sections that by their nature should continue after the Service ends do, including those on fees owed, ownership, restrictions, confidentiality, data protection and deletion, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and disputes.
32. Warranties and disclaimers
- Our promises. We will provide the Service in a professional and workmanlike way, materially as described in HQ and on our website. If we do not, tell us within 30 days and we will fix the problem. If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you may cancel and receive a refund of prepaid fees for the unused part of your billing period. This is your only remedy for a breach of this promise.
- Your promises. You have the authority to agree to these Terms, and you will use the Service in compliance with the law and your rules of professional conduct.
- Disclaimer. Except for the promises in this Section, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure from every threat.
- No promise of results. We do not promise any number of visitors, leads, calls, clients, cases, revenue, search rankings, mentions in AI answers, or other results, or that your site or ads comply with every rule that applies to you.
33. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- No indirect damages. Neither side is liable to the other for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost clients or cases, lost goodwill, or lost or corrupted data (other than our duty to restore from backups), even if told they were possible.
- Cap. Each side’s total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
- Exceptions. These limits do not apply to your duty to pay fees and taxes you owe, either side’s indemnity duties under Section 34, or liability for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, or liability the law does not allow to be limited.
- These limits apply whatever the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. They reflect how we price the Service.
34. Indemnity
- Yours. You will defend us, our members, managers, employees, and contractors against any claim by a third party, and pay the damages, fines, settlements, and reasonable attorney’s fees that result, arising from: Your Content; your website and advertising content; your professional conduct and your dealings with clients and prospective clients; calls, texts, and emails sent on your firm’s behalf without the consent or notices the law requires; accounts you connect; or your breach of these Terms or the law.
- Ours. We will defend you against any claim by a third party that the Service itself (not Your Content, your changes, anything you combine it with, or a Brand Kit name or tagline under Section 17) infringes a U.S. patent, copyright, or trademark or misappropriates a trade secret, and pay the damages and settlements that result. If such a claim happens or is likely, we may get you the right to keep using the Service, change it so it no longer infringes, or end the affected part and refund prepaid fees for the unused period.
- How it works. The side asking for defense must tell the other promptly in writing, let it control the defense and settlement (except that no settlement may admit fault for, or impose a duty on, the defended side without its consent), and cooperate at the defending side’s cost.
35. Events beyond anyone’s control
Neither side is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, government action, labor disputes, widespread internet or power outages, failures of carriers or major cloud providers, or attacks we could not reasonably prevent. This does not excuse your duty to pay fees and taxes.
36. Governing law and disputes
- Arizona law. These Terms and any dispute about them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
- Talk first. Before filing any claim, the side with the complaint must send a written notice describing it, and both sides will try in good faith to resolve it informally for 30 days.
- Courts. Disputes that are not resolved informally will be decided only in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and both sides consent to those courts’ jurisdiction. Either side may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies, or ask any court for an injunction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.
- Jury waiver. To the fullest extent the law allows, each side waives its right to a jury trial in any dispute about these Terms or the Service.
- No class actions. Claims may be brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative action.
- Time limit. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, unless the law requires a longer period.
37. Electronic agreement and notices
- Electronic. You agree to sign up, agree to these Terms, and receive invoices, notices, and disclosures electronically, which have the same effect as paper and signatures. We record the date, time, and version of these Terms you agreed to.
- Notices to you go to the email addresses of your account owners and, where useful, appear in HQ. They are received when sent.
- Notices to us go to hello@getattorneylogic.com. Legal notices (such as a notice of dispute) must also be mailed to HITTEKK LLC, 21168 E Ocotillo Rd #1195, Queen Creek, AZ 85142.
38. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of material changes by email and in HQ, and post the new version with its date on this page. Changes do not apply to a dispute that arose before the change. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect; for yearly plans, we will refund prepaid fees for the unused part of your year if you cancel for this reason.
39. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, your Orders, any quote you approve, and the policies they refer to (including our Privacy Policy) are the whole agreement between us about the Service, and replace any earlier discussions. If they conflict, this order controls: a signed written agreement between us, then an approved quote (for that work only), then these Terms, then other policies.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent, except to a successor in a merger or the sale of your firm that agrees to them. We may transfer them to an affiliate or a successor in a merger or sale of our business, with notice to you.
- Independent parties. We are independent contractors. Nothing creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship, and neither side can bind the other.
- No third-party rights. These Terms are only for you and us. No one else, including your clients or people who contact your firm, has rights under them.
- Export and sanctions. You will not use the Service in violation of U.S. export laws or sanctions, and you confirm you are not on any U.S. government restricted-party list.
- Severability and waiver. If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent allowed and the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
- Interpretation. Headings are for convenience. “Including” means “including without limitation.” These Terms will not be read against either side because that side wrote them.
